Hi peeps and welcome to the 5th edition of my savory snackable bakes newsletter. I have a question for you: have you ever had a grocery delivery list that looked anything like the one below?
All-purpose flour - 40 pounds
Unsalted butter - 11 pounds
Whole milk - 6 ½ pounds
Heavy cream - 10 ½ pounds
Frozen puff pastry - 8 boxes
Cheese (mixed variety) - 40 pounds
I’m thinking the answer is no and if it is yes, well then I’m guessing you’ve written a cookbook (and yay for you, BTW). This list is just a snapshot of some of the items (and their amounts) that we needed for our recent photo shoot for my new book, Salty, Cheesy, Herby, Crispy Snackable Bakes (hitting bookshelves in October of 2024!). That’s the new title of the book, FYI, that I have shared with you, and only you, my beloved paid newsletter subscribers.
