Ok onto all the good snacky stuff!

Hello my lovely snackable friends. I am writing this missive from an airplane, as I was away in the sun with some old friends for the last week. It was wonderful to be away, as I loved being with my pals (I mean there is something about hanging with peeps who have known you since your teens or early 20s that is literally unbeatable) and I love the sun, I won’t lie. But I am also really looking forward to being home and getting back into my groove (and greeting my cat and dog - who I missed terribly - and my husband (❤️)). I tried hard while I was away to do a minimal amount of work (which is not easy for me), and I succeeded. And perhaps because of that break, I am extra eager to sit down at my desk again and to get into my kitchen. I was super sad - almost bereft! - to leave the beautiful place I just spent the last 7 days, but once I was at the airport, my thinking shifted and home took on a rosier hue.
