Hello peeps and welcome! I’m Jessie Sheehan, a 3x cookbook author, podcast host and the self-proclaimed queen of easy-peasy sweets. And although I adore sweets as much as the next person (okay, more . . .) I really don’t adore recipes with long ingredient lists, calling for items I’ve never even heard of, or can’t find at my local grocery store. Nor do I like recipes with several components and complicated instructions And any recipe that leaves me with a sink full of dishes is a definite no-no.

And so my most recent book, Snackable Bakes (a NYT Best Cookbook of 2022, thank you very much) is chock full of short, easy to follow recipes, that call for ingredients that are easy-to-find, and that are assembled quickly and (ideally) with nothing more than a bowl, a whisk and a spatula. I also write a column for Bake From Scratch Magazine featuring two easy peasy baking recipes each issue, called Fast Fix with Jessie Sheehan, and contribute regularly to the Washington Post. (And, if all that isn’t enough, you can find me on Instagram and TikTok).

I’m also the host of the Cherry Bombe baking podcast She’s My Cherry Pie where I interview world-class pastry chefs, bakers and culinary creatives. FINALLY, I’m currently working on my fourth cookbook and my first savory one and am so excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at the process, along with recipes and other treats to paid subscribers!
